“Do you have any illicit relationship with someone else then your husband?” This funny but not-to-ask-anybody type of question is raised with the ear piercing background sound, which contribute to accumulate a curiosity among the audience. A lady in around thirties was sitting on a chair facing the show compère, with her family including her own husband resided behind the pulpit within the audience, embedded with a flash of implicated anxiety appearing on their face. Actually this is a show, a kind of reality live show where you have to face question which we assume a secret, cultivated in the deep of our heart. But the revelation of the dread privacy by the contenders draw such commotions that the host TV channel got higher and higher rate in the Television industry. Hither with, lots of reality shows flourished in the Indian Television industry with the innovative initiation of Indian Idol which is a head-to-toe imitation of American Idol. In fact, in the history of Indian Film Industry it is common thing to prescribe the already made-in film in western country to remake in Hindi Film, most of the success Indian blockbusters are copied ‘monkeys’ of western films, mainly from Hollywood. It is not a mistake or crime to copy the things that are beneficial to the society in all the way. But the problem and the weakness that exist in the Indian Film Industry is the negligence of their own culture and identification, the tough guy in the industry are ready to sacrifice everything for film, in short decipher, for money.
Though many of the great philosophers and eminent Utopians predicted the fragility operation of monetary substance in building happy boundaries around the human life, still monetary plays a great roll in the field in every corner of life. Similarly the above mentioned reality show is also one of the few ‘displays’ that are rating high in the society for a grand of money. Some observers and audience may argued such reality shows are necessary to expose the true nature of human being to paved the way for their correction, still it is extremely a open-secret that such shows run only on the matter of the money, of the rating stars the channels get. Even money plays great role in provision of happiness, we must not forget the frontier above which we can’t cross at the cost of monetary pleasure, such as morality, motivation, sincerity etc. OH YEAH,,,!You might think what is use of all these senses in the twenty first century. We might decide such old fashioned feeling have no place in the present world, than at the same time we must accept that we have to die some day and we have to get gray hair some day in present world, I assumed it couldn’t be a peaceful death with the memory of bad actions and resentment of our own deeds in the childhood. We won’t have the nerve to scold our own grandchildren when they steal a rupee from your pocket. We can’t accuse someone when they cheat other people, because there are the things we keep on doing in our whole life. We can’t breathe in peace with the ‘fractured’ retrospective memory of our misdeeds.
What I am saying here is, though we have to fight the challenge and confront the cruelty in the life to survive, still it is in the advantage of our life if we place the morality, sincerity, etc below the monetary grant, as I was saying, we are not immortality, and no one wishes to leave this world with a regret and an infamous name. Hence, let’s not make our life flashed out with the greedy of money and luxuries.
